of blossoming plums
-- Alegria Imperial, Canada
Votes: 13**** Points: 07
Comment: "rendolence" may call too much attention to itself, overshadowing the rest of the haiku, while a less-showy word like "scent" would convey the same sensory detail whilst keeping the focus entirely on the moment. But I like this one anyway.

  1. CKK welcomes Rita B. Fox; thanks for joining us; our very first kukai is at

Twenty six poems were received for this kukai; However only twenty five made the list for voting; this is only because the twenty-sixth poem was received long after the list was distributed and voting had already started. Please enjoyed the late entry Haiku #26
and please if you wish to comment add your at COMMENT. Thank you Tatj for sending a poem to Kukai #33; so sorry it was too late to make the list

Special Thanks to (Jim Aaron) Jimmy the Peach, who pitched in to give us a guest vote, since one person who submitted a haiku, did not send a vote. Thank you Jimmy

    much love
