The Kukai - a haiku contest, where each person submits a haiku, and then, becomes a judge. When all the poems are compiled in a list, the contestants comment, vote, and give scores to poems of their choice. One cannot comment on, nor vote for one’s own poem. At the end of the voting process winners emerge, the selection based on votes by the kukai’s contestants.

Oh my goodness! Thank you so much, everyone, for your votes! This is quite unexpected as I'd never done a kukai before nor have really participated much in contests (only very, very few). I am humbled and sincerely appreciate your comments and am glad to have participated in this contest! There were so many lovely 'ku that I thought would have won first place. I just never dreamed that this honor would be bestowed on me. I am deeply touched.
ReplyDeleteNamaste and blessings,
