The Kukai - a haiku contest, where each person submits a haiku, and then, becomes a judge. When all the poems are compiled in a list, the contestants comment, vote, and give scores to poems of their choice. One cannot comment on, nor vote for one’s own poem. At the end of the voting process winners emerge, the selection based on votes by the kukai’s contestants.

CKK welcomes: 1. Daniela Lacramioara, 2. Dwarakanathan Ravi, 3. Shrikaanth
ReplyDeleteKrsihnamurthy, To view our very first kukai CLICK HERE
There were 26 haiku submitted to this kukai, only 23 made the voting list. Two were added to the Late List, one was not listed anywhere. Haiku from Ramesh Anand, Keith Simmonds, and Gheorghe Postelnicu were received after voting had started. Gheorghe later requested that his haiku not be listed, since he wanted to submit it to another kukai
Again, i wish to thank all my CKK players for a grand #50 contest. I have posted results later than usual, since as i noted at our Facebook page, this month of April was quite exhausting
Since we have reached that grand number 50, i will in celebration post in the month of May a recap of all winners for the past 50 kukai along with prompts and winning haiku. Therefore in May we rest and read and reap; Kukai #51 will resume in June
Much Love
