Comment 1: I'm giving this a point for its intended meaning, but it desperately needs a "her" in line 1. Without it, you have a couple being naughty on their first date (!) and fearing that Mama is going to catch them.
Comment 2: This would read more smoothly if the word "awake" was inserted after "lie".
